Has a mobile notary you are always on the go and have all the information and resources that you need while conducting your notary business is imperative. By downloading these apps on your smartphone it will make it easy to fit your office into the palm of your hand and they will help you work smarter not harder while saving you time and money. This will make your notary business successful. Below I list the apps that I use on my smartphone daily.

Google Voice Mobile App

This app gives your business a phone number for calling, text messaging, and voicemail. It works on smartphones and computers and syncs across your devices so you can use the app at home, or on the go. One of the great things about Google Voice is that it’s extremely affordable. It’s a free service, and as long as you use it to communicate between your Google Voice number and other U.S. numbers, it’s totally free to place calls and send text messages.

Calendar

A calendar app allows you to have your entire schedule and share appointments or your entire calendar with other people. I recommend Google Calendar is an excellent cross-platform calendar app and it also works well on Android and iPhones. It’s simple to create new events whether you’re on your phone or computer, and everything always stays synced no matter what time zone you’re in.

Maps

As a mobile notary, you will likely have appointments all over your city. You will be driven to different neighborhoods you have never been to before. A Map apps will not only provide you with the faster route it will also give you a preview of the route, and conveniently direct give you as you go. They can even re-route your destination if they are traffic delays. I recommend having two different apps on your smartphone like Google Maps, Maps and Waze are a few of the most popular options.

Scan Documents

There are many scanning apps available that you can download on your smartphone. These apps will allow you to combine the functionality of a scanner with the convenience and accessibility of a cellphone. With these apps, you can upload documents much faster after the notarial act is completed. I myself always keep 2 apps on my smartphone I will Tiny Scan and Adobe Scan.

Square

This app is a popular service that allows you to accept mobile credit card payments safely and securely using a plastic dongle that can be inserted into the port of any Apple or Android mobile smartphone. You can also create invoices and email or text them immediately.
